2 Forums, 1 Technology Presentation, and 1 Networking Function

“Forum @ METALEX Vietnam,” “NEPCON Forum @ Vietnam,” “METALEX Vietnam Technology Presentation,” and ‘METALEX Night” are concurrent activities that enriched the content of the Exhibition.  Vietnamese manufacturers gained new knowledge that complemented their experiences with new technologies in the Exhibition.

Forum @ METALEX Vietnam Unveiled Upcoming Innovations for Manufacturing Development.
Under the topic of “Upcoming Innovative Technologies for Manufacturing Industry Development,” Mr. Narongsak Opilan, Managing Director, Thai Summit Eastern Seaboard Auto Parts Industry and Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana, Chief Innovation Executive of Innovation Forum, Thailand, revealed to the conference Delegates how innovations could be worth investing in when compared with the development of their manufacturing.  Also, the delegates learned the identification of emerging and future TREND (Technology, Research, Evolution, Novelty, and Development.)

Mr. Le Thanh Ha, Chief of Faculty of Labor Economic University of Vietnam, who is a renowned figure on labor spoke under the topic of “Strategic Development of Vietnamese Workforce to be Ready for Industrial Competitive Edge.”

The room was full of interested Visitors who wanted to see new technologies presented by Mr.Yasunori Iwasaki and Ms. Wannipha Amatayakul from AUROMEX VIETNAM CO., LTD. under the topic of “Tri-valent Chromium Black Color Chemical Treatment Process for Various Zinc Plating Films: ES Coat Black SOP.”

NEPCON Forum @ Vietnam
Under the topic of “Strategic Integration of Foreign Partner Technology to Vietnam’s Electronics Industry Development,” Dr. Akajate Apikajornsin of Electrical, Electronic and Allied Industrial Club, the Federation of Thai Industry suggested the Delegates that, when manufacturing electronic products, they consider the concern on ecology in order to be accepted in the international markets.

METALEX Night Networked Exhibitors at Historic Museum
After the first day’s long hours, METALEX Vietnam Exhibitors joined “METALEX Night,” a networking function organized by Reed Tradex as a gesture of appreciation to the Exhibitors, in a gracious Historic Museum in the heart of Ha Noi downtown.

A guest speaker, Mr. Tran Ngoc Hung, Deputy Director of Industrial Zone Department of Ministry of Planning and Investment, spoke to the Exhibitors about investment landscape and opportunity in Vietnam.  The country has seen 50 countries invested in various sectors.  Mr. Hung said that such an international exhibition like METALEX Vietnam helped attract investment into the country and helped increase the growth of the machine tools sector.
